About Us

Age Concern Lambeth is an independent organisation and a member of the Age Concern Federation. Our services are for everyone over 55 and we particularly welcome users from black and minority communities, people with disabilities, and lesbians & gay men. We promote diversity and equality of opportunity in our services, strategic work and in our employment. In 2006 we celebrated 60 years of working with and for older people in Lambeth.

We have a staff team responsible for delivering a range of services and our Board of Trustees is elected annually at our Annual General Meeting. We also have fifty volunteers who help us to offer wider ranging and more flexible services to older people.
Age Concern Lambeth’s mission is to support and work with older people to achieve a full and enjoyable quality of life.
Aims
We aim to achieve this by:
• Providing good quality and appropriate services and support
• Promoting the well- being of all older people
• Reflecting and celebrating the diversity of Lambeth’s older people in all that we do
• Working in partnership to improve and extend services for older people
